REPRODUCTIVE TOXICOLOGIST

The Dow Chemical Company’s Toxicology & Environmental Research and Consulting function, located in Midland, Michigan, is seeking a Reproductive Toxicologist. This is a laboratory based position, with the successful candidate serving as Study Director and/or Lead Scientist for regulatory guideline reproductive toxicology studies, as well as investigational research studies to support mode of action-based risk assessments. The position will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of scientists and technical staff possessing expertise in areas such as developmental toxicology/teratology, pathology, analytical chemistry, pharmacokinetics, in vitro toxicology and/or toxicogenomics. Publication of results in peer-reviewed journals, as well as interaction with regulatory, academic and government scientists and internal business clients, are other key components of the position.

Education/Certification Requirements:

The candidate should have a Ph.D. and 0-5 years of post-doctoral research experience in reproductive toxicology, reproductive physiology, reproductive endocrinology or a related field.

Certification by the American Board of Toxicology is desirable, but not required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
